Throughout the year, RVWA hosts several activities for all members and others interested: In January, the annual member meeting and dinner includes wines gifted by our member growers and wine makers. In addition to a report from the RVWA Board of Directors including a treasurer’s report and updates from our associates at other wine industry groups such as the Oregon Wine Board and others, guest speakers are invited to present timely and relevant information for growers and makers alike. Hummingbird Winery hosted the RVWA 2026 Annual Winter dinner meeting attended by approximately 40 members and a selection of 25 different wines that were shared and enjoyed by all.
The 2026 RVWA Summer picnic is approaching. The picnic will be held at Dark Hollow Farm, 7121 Dark Hollow Rd, Medford, OR 97501, August 17, 5-8pm, cost $25/person. Register on the products page.
Additionally, RVWA joins with other organizations to sponsor two Grape Day events hosted by Southern Oregon Extension Center (SOREC) which is part of the Oregon State University Extension program. Grape days offer a wide array of educational topics specifically focused on winegrape growing practices that are unique to the Rogue Valley and Southern Oregon.
